The popularity of OO scale tram models means that kits are available in a number of materials. Whilst we have primarily now transitioned to stocking kits that primarily use 3D printed resin plastic, we stock a limited number of OO scale kits in cast resin and injection plastic. Detailing parts for the kit bodies are typically white metal, resin and/ or etched brass depending on kit and specific part.
Most of our kits are by Corporation Model Trams, which is our own brand that utilises the latest computer design and 3D printing technology to produce highly accurate models. This approach also allows us to offer many different variants of the same basic tram class representing individual cars, small differences, or trams at different points in their lives. We firmly believe that the detail and quality of the final product you can achieve with our models surpasses that of any other UK tram model manufacturer.
We have split our kits by system to assist you to find the right tram for your next project, and also have a section of ‘generic British’ trams that were typically 4 wheel open top trams to a common design and found in many systems across the country. This section will be particularly of interest to anyone who wishes to add a tramway to their model railway.
